Battery inspection

The battery inspection of the traction battery includes the following services:

Battery maintenance

Batteries should be serviced at least once a year. Maintenance is independent of the battery type. Through our experienced and qualified service technicians, the battery is ready for use again in the shortest possible time.
The battery inspection of the drive battery includes the following services:

Measuring the total battery voltage
Measure cell voltage and electrolyte density (visual sample)

Battery cleaning

Cleaning the battery not only adds visual value. Residues and deposits on the surface may cause leakage currents that cause lasting damage to a battery.
After cleaning, the acidic trough water is extracted and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Battery cleaning of the drive battery includes the following services:

Charger test

Regular testing will maintain the proper function of the chargers. Our service technicians have suitable testing equipment and the necessary training to carry out a charger test.

Notes for the care of traction batteries

Apart from the required inspections, operators of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment can contribute to the preservation of the batteries themselves.

Charge the battery and ensure that the charging gases produced during charging are completely extracted.
After battery charging, check the electrolyte level (electrolyte level sensor recommended).
Checking the connectors, plug connections and connecting cables for possible damage

Connect the battery to the charger over the weekend or during longer periods of standstill for automatic equalisation charging.
Refill with purified water after charging (water refill system recommended).

The board provides you with the necessary maintenance accessories, such as gloves, protective goggles and eye wash, in a central location and within easy reach.
